Statement

In my paintings and assemblages, I use geometry and color in a constructive sense aimed at exploring space and overflowing coherence. I address the tension between structure and gesture by challenging modes of objective order, configuring speculations that resolve into unstable equilibriums (transitions, overlaps, fragments, asymmetries, reflections, and vibrations), provoking ambiguous and diverse interpretations. My works are composed of sequences and patterns of simple shapes and dynamic chromatic contrasts that move between the plane, relief, and three-dimensionality through the modeling of stainless steel supports.
